Silvia Vaisburd

I graduated as Technologist in Data Processing at PUC-RJ (Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro), masters degree in Informatics and Society field, COPPE-System, which dissertation is about a brazilian computer, Cobra 500. Currently, I'm pursuing doctoral studies at PESC (Program Systems Engineering and Computer Science), following Informatics and Society field to work with Administration Indicators based on Science and Technology Social Studies. In reference to doctorate research field, I'm interested in a view brought by STS Studies to artifacts construction in science and technology. During many years, I worked in industry and informatics products services on development techniques activities, technical support, administrative, about marketing and management. In 2000, I took part in IT startup with venture capital and today I'm a researcher on INMETRO (National Institute of Metrology Standardization and Industrial Quality), operating in IT governance. I was a student of MBA in Corporate Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, MBA in Public Management from AVM and undergraduate professor in international relations at Bennett and MBA in Marketing from IBMEC, in the period between 2001 and 2010.
