Marcelo Fornazin is Adjunct Professor at the Computing Institute of the Federal Fluminense University (UFF). He holds a bachelor's degree (2006) and a Master's Degree (2008) in Computer Science from São Paulo State University (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho- (UNESP). He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the Brazilian School of Public Administration and Business at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (EBAPE / FGV). Member of the Information, Health and Population Thematic Group of the Brazilian Association of Collective Health (GTISP / Abrasco), also works in the Unirio Post-Graduation Program in Informatics (PPGI-Unirio) and in the Graduate Program in Information Science IBICT- UFRJ. He worked as Professor in the Information Technology area of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2015-2017), as Specialist in Information Technology Management at the Ministry of Health (2009-2013), and as Project Manager at MStech Consultoria (2006-2009). Has experience in the area of Computer Science and Information Technology, with emphasis on Information Technology Management, Electronic Government and Social Computing. He mainly works on the following topics: IT planning and management, evaluation and public IT projects and policies, development of computer systems, development of computer solutions in health and education.
