Eduardo Diniz

Eduardo DinizGraduated by the School of Engineering of São Carlos USP (1983) in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis in electronics, Master in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - SP (1994) and Ph.D. in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas - SP (2000). Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley (1996-98), HEC Montréal (2007) and Erasmus University (2016-17). A Bellagio Fellow, nominated by the Rockefeller Foundation since 2014, and researcher at the FGV's Microfinance and Financial Inclusion Center (GVCEMIF) since 2007. Coordinated the ADI academic division of the National Association for Graduate Studies and Research in Administration (Anpad) from 2005 to 2006 and Coordinator of Information Technology in Government, Non-Governmental Communities and Organizations at Anpad (2007-2009). Editor-in-chief of the RAE, the Business Administration Department, GV executive and GV cases, from January 2009 to December 2015. Head of the School of Administration of the State of São Paulo Getulio Vargas Foundation (EAESP-FGV) of the Department of Technology and Data Science (TDS) of EAESP-FGV. I've been researching applications on technology and impacts in banks, government and society since 1991 and published numerous academic papers on financial inclusion at international conferences (ICIS, EGOS, Academy of Management, AMCIS, etc.) and periodicals MISQuarterly, Journal of Global Information Management , Public Administration, MIT Innovations, Information Technology and International Development, Information Development and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications, The European Financial Review. My research was funded by international agencies such as the National Science Foundation, the International Development Research Center, the World Bank, the Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation.
