{"id":1118,"date":"2018-03-21T18:47:21","date_gmt":"2018-03-21T21:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/?page_id=1118"},"modified":"2026-01-19T17:20:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-19T20:20:10","slug":"labis","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/en\/labis\/","title":{"rendered":"(LabIS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Frentes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">O LabIS - Laborat\u00f3rio de Inform\u00e1tica e Sociedade - conta atualmente com diferentes iniciativas de ensino-pesquisa-extens\u00e3o, agrupadas nas frentes de trabalho descritas abaixo.<\/p>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"entry-title\">\n<h3>Bens comuns digitais<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">Re\u00fane projetos de ensino-pesquisa-extens\u00e3o que produzam e disponibilizem (sob licen\u00e7as livres) artefatos de software, tanto como resultado do envolvimento de estudantes em sala de aula e de bolsistas e volunt\u00e1rios graduandos extensionistas e de inicia\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica. Esses artefatos destinam-se a estimular a pr\u00e1tica de maratonas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de dados sobre as realidades das periferias vulnerabilizadas bem como gerar ou analisar esses dados conjuntamente com suas popula\u00e7\u00f5es. As discuss\u00f5es e\/ou a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de infraestruturas de informa\u00e7\u00e3o adequadas tamb\u00e9m fazem parte da constru\u00e7\u00e3o desses softwares, com especial aten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s (des)conex\u00f5es dessas infraestruturas com os territ\u00f3rios em que permanecem.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"entry-title\">\n<h3>Economias e moedas solid\u00e1rias<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">Re\u00fane projetos de ensino-pesquisa-extens\u00e3o que visibilizem, fortale\u00e7am e reflitam sobre as experi\u00eancias de (re)constru\u00e7\u00e3o de redes econ\u00f4micas (no sentido de experi\u00eancias que contemplem a tem\u00e1tica da autogest\u00e3o) e de moedas comunit\u00e1rias e municipais, em especial em seus processos de digitaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. No Brasil, o termo moedas sociais \u00e9 o mais utilizado, as quais historicamente s\u00e3o colocadas em circula\u00e7\u00e3o por bancos comunit\u00e1rios. Estes s\u00e3o servi\u00e7os financeiros de natureza associativa e comunit\u00e1ria, com pr\u00e1ticas como a concess\u00e3o de microcr\u00e9dito, as moedas sociais (v\u00e1lidas em um territ\u00f3rio restrito), e mais recentemente a transfer\u00eancia de renda via moedas municipais. A frente conta com parcerias com Rede Brasileira de Bancos Comunit\u00e1rios e Municipais e o Observat\u00f3rio de Bancos Comunit\u00e1rios e Moedas Sociais Digitais (OBM).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"entry-title\">\n<h3>Espa\u00e7os de inform\u00e1tica e ensino-aprendizagem<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">Re\u00fane projetos de ensino-pesquisa-extens\u00e3o que discutam tem\u00e1ticas como a introdu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 programa\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e0 inform\u00e1tica para estudantes de escolas p\u00fablicas, atrav\u00e9s da(o): 1) realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de oficinas e semin\u00e1rios sobre as conex\u00f5es entre inform\u00e1tica e sociedade em suas diferentes rela\u00e7\u00f5es (tais como inform\u00e1tica\/g\u00eanero e inform\u00e1tica\/ra\u00e7a); 2) elabora\u00e7\u00e3o de recursos digitais para o ensino e a pesquisa; 3) desenvolvimento da pesquisa com estudantes e popula\u00e7\u00f5es perif\u00e9ricas sobre sua apropria\u00e7\u00e3o (e produ\u00e7\u00e3o) de tecnologias digitais; 4) tradu\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais acad\u00eamicos para formatos e linguagens adequados a estudantes de escolas p\u00fablicas; 5) discuss\u00e3o com popula\u00e7\u00f5es com pouco letramento digital do fen\u00f4meno das falsas hist\u00f3rias (FakeNews) propagadas especialmente atrav\u00e9s das redes sociais digitais. A frente conta com a parceria com o LIpE-Laborat\u00f3rio de Inform\u00e1tica para Educa\u00e7\u00e3o-UFRJ (veja em <a href=\"https:\/\/nides.ufrj.br\/index.php\/o-lipe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/nides.ufrj.br\/index.php\/o-lipe<\/a>).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"entry-title\">\n<h3>Mitos e hist\u00f3rias das ci\u00eancias e tecnologias<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" align=\"justify\">Re\u00fane projetos de ensino-pesquisa-extens\u00e3o que historicizam fatos e artefatos da tecnoci\u00eancia moderna, com especial aten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 computa\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e0s tecnologias da informa\u00e7\u00e3o, amparando-se nos referenciais dos Estudos Ci\u00eancias-Tecnologias-Sociedades (CTS) - que compreendem a engenharia e a sociedade como indissoci\u00e1veis. Esta frente busca mapear controv\u00e9rsias atuais e passadas, utilizando, entre as diversas fontes hist\u00f3ricas, a base de conhecimento das edi\u00e7\u00f5es bianuais (desde 2010) do Simp\u00f3sio da Hist\u00f3ria da Inform\u00e1tica na Am\u00e9rica Latina e no Caribe (SHIALC) (veja em <a href=\"http:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/en\/eventos\/mem\u00f3ria\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">is.cos.ufrj.br\/eventos\/mem\u00f3ria<\/a>) e, mais especialmente, busca igualmente traduzir tais fatos, artefatos e controv\u00e9rsias em linguagens adequadas a p\u00fablicos externos \u00e0 Universidade.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Hist\u00f3rico<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LabIS - Informatics and Society Laboratory - has been configured along a journey that goes back to the works and investigations of the research area in Informatics and Society (IS) of the Systems Engineering and Computer Science Program at COPPE\/UFRJ. The IS research area has long sought a Brazil yet to be invented, driven by the desire to understand the Brazilian reality to help build a fairer and more solidary country. A desire to contribute from a renewed understanding of scientific and technological activities - especially the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) - supported by the new sociological, economic, historical and anthropological references that have been questioning, since the 20th century, the neutrality and the universality of science and technology.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Figura-12.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1397 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Figura-12.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"810\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Figura-12.png 810w, https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Figura-12-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/is.cos.ufrj.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Figura-12-768x427.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In accordance with the interlacing inscribed in its own denomination, the research area in Informatics and Society has produced for more than fifteen years a series of courses, research projects, symposiums, workshops, articles, and dissertations dedicated to the construction of an interdisciplinary local knowledge, committed to a popular and solidary direction. From 2015,  the course took the experimental path of the projects-based learning pedagogy, offering undergraduate students an experience of interaction between teaching, research and outreach guided by the development of ICT projects that contemplate solutions and improvements for community life, including that of the Fund\u00e3o campus itself.
